I have been inspired by Sashimono for many years. The Japanese way of joinery shows me how patience, precision, and devotion can turn simple wood into something timeless.
In November 2025, I visited Inoue, one of the most respected woodworking tool shops in Tokyo, and I felt the spirit of true craftsmanship in every corner. Later I visited Mogami Kogei and met a master who has spent a lifetime shaping wood with heart and discipline. Standing beside him in his workshop reminded me why I began this journey.
These moments give me strength and direction. They remind me that woodworking is not only about creating furniture. It is about carrying forward a culture of respect for the material and dedication to the craft.
This is the same soul I keep in Phnomda Craft Lab, where every piece we make holds a story of passion, patience, and pride.
